One retained attorney at four cases per year, three thousand dollars per case, is twelve thousand dollars in annual revenue. Losing that one referral costs more than your entire marketing budget.

01The diagnosis

Why solo PIs lose the attorney work they should already have.

Adjusters and law firms are not comparing investigators on field skill. They have no way to measure that. They're comparing you on three things, and most solo firms fail all three.

Failure 01
The intake looks unprofessional.
A web form from 2014, a Gmail address, a missed call that bounces to voicemail. The adjuster routes the next case to a firm that picked up on the second ring with their name and case number ready.
Failure 02
No status reporting cadence.
Counsel is fielding partner questions weekly. If you go silent for ten days mid-case, the partner assumes you are mismanaged, even if your field work is excellent. They route the next file accordingly.
Failure 03
No referral pipeline maintained.
Once a case closes, communication stops. No close-out summary, no quarterly check-in, no ask for the next file. The relationship cools, and a new firm becomes default. PIs do zero post-case work.

02The fix

A professional intake and reporting layer that runs on top of your existing case management.

We don't replace CROSStrax, Trackops, or however you run case work today. We sit on top, handling everything counsel and adjusters actually see and judge you on.

Step I
Branded intake portal
Attorney submits a case via a secure portal that bears your firm's name, not ours. Conflict check, jurisdiction, scope of work, retainer all captured upfront.
Step II
Case opened in 60 minutes
Counsel receives a confirmed case number, assigned investigator, anticipated cadence, and a link to the live status page, before they go to lunch.
Step III
Automated status updates
Weekly recap emails. Hours logged, milestones hit, blockers, next checkpoint. Counsel forwards to the partner. The partner sees a firm with controls.
Step IV
Referral nurture loop
Close-out summary, anniversary check-in, quarterly digest of similar cases handled. The relationship stays warm. The next file lands in your inbox.

Why this math is different from your last vendor

Most agencies charge a setup fee, hand you a website, and bill monthly for "maintenance" that's mostly hosting. Eight months later your rank has slipped, your AI hasn't learned anything, and counsel is still calling your cell. What you're paying $749 for is an engine that gets better every month, not worse. Cancel anytime. The math says you won't want to.

The economics, for the analytical reader

One recovered attorney relationship pays the bundle for the next three years.

Avg. B2B case value: $3,000
Cases per attorney per year: 4
Annual value of one retained attorney: $12,000
Annual cost of GeauxChat bundle: $8,988 plus setup
→ Recover one attorney = the system pays for itself in year one. Every additional attorney is pure margin. Most firms have 4 to 6 attorneys they're losing right now.
04Vs. everyone else

Marketing agencies sell you traffic. We sell you retained relationships.

The most common question we get from PIs: "isn't this just another website?" Here's what the comparison actually looks like.

Traditional PI marketing agency
  • Sells SEO, ads, websites. Engagement ends at form submission.
  • $1,500 to $5,000 per month. 12-month minimum. Cancel = penalty.
  • No portal. No status automation. No referral retention.
  • Optimizes for traffic. You still lose the lead at the front door.
  • Same template offered to plumbers, dentists, and you.
GeauxChat, built for PI work only
  • Captures the lead, books the case, runs the relationship after.
  • $749 per month, month-to-month. We earn it back every 30 days.
  • Portal, status automation, and referral nurture all baked in.
  • Optimizes for retained attorneys. Closed cases, not impressions.
  • One niche, licensed PI firms. We've never sold to anyone else.
05Reasonable doubts

The questions every counsel asks before greenlighting a vendor.

We've answered each of these on the first scorecard call we've ever taken. Better to handle them here.

Will my attorneys actually use a portal?
They already do. Hona, MyCase, Case Status, Filevine, Clio. Every modern law firm uses portal-based vendor communication. The question is not whether they'll use yours; it's whether they assume you have one. Today, when they realize you don't, you stop being the default. Once you do, you become the firm they tell other partners about.
What about confidentiality and attorney-client privilege?
The portal is encrypted in transit and at rest. Case files are siloed per attorney, never cross-tenant. We sign a vendor agreement, BAA equivalent, and any custom NDA your counsel requires. We do not retain transcripts beyond the engagement. We do not use case data for any model training, marketing, or aggregate reporting.
Does it integrate with CROSStrax / Trackops / my case manager?
Yes. The portal sits in front of your case manager, not in place of it. Inbound case requests flow into your existing workflow. Status updates pull from your case manager via API or simple weekly notes you record once. We are additive, never replacement.
How is "60-second intake" possible without a real human?
The intake brain is trained on hundreds of real B2B PI engagements. It collects scope, jurisdiction, retainer, conflict-check inputs, and urgency, then routes the case to you with a structured brief. For attorneys, the formality and speed signal exactly what they want: competence. We do not pretend it is a human investigator; it introduces itself as your firm's intake coordinator.
What's the catch with month-to-month pricing?
There is none. We don't believe in twelve-month lockup contracts that the rest of this industry insists on. If we don't earn $749 of value back to you every thirty days, fire us. Across six months of live PI engagements, no firm has yet asked to leave.
